A case in point was a recent new driveway in Altrincham that we laid. We were asked by a fellow builder to install a pattern imprinted concrete driveway in Altrincham at his mother in laws house. She had recently had the front of her house rendered and new windows fitted. Having modernised the outside of the house, she turned her attention to updating her driveway so as to complement the house.
Our client opted for the classic combination of standard London cobble for the pattern, coloured in classic grey. While this has a very traditional appearance, reflecting as the name suggests, cobble stones, when coloured in classic grey gives it a more contemporary feel. The colour perfectly complemented the anthracite window frames, front door and garage door, nicely tying everything together.

As a result, we fitted an ACO drain along the front of the property where the driveway meets the house. We ran it into the planter under the window ensuring it was discreet. The final stage of laying the pattern imprinted concrete driveway in Altrincham was to cover the surface with an acrylic seal with anti-slip. This coating protects the concrete and gives it a lovely shine. The anti-slip agent in it gives it grip making it easy to walk and drive over.
