Another New Driveway in Wythenshawe, Manchester installed by Lasting Impressions!
An average household in the Northwest of England has two cars. With more and more families having a car each, this can mean that in residential areas the lack of parking space either on the property or on the roads nearby is limited. As a result, it is increasingly becoming a problem for many individuals to find somewhere to safely leave their car while they are at home! To resolve this ongoing problem many households are deciding to make better practical use of the space in front of or around their house. Lasting Impressions was recently asked to install a brand-new driveway in Wythenshawe, Manchester, across the entire front of a house. The space ran along the length of the house and up to the door way, allowing ample room for at least two cars to be parked.
Our clients opted to have the driveway printed in London Cobble which is a stylish and traditional choice. As you can see from the photographs this was coloured in classic grey. To define the edging, at either side of the drive way stones and pebbles were incorporated along with a step up to the front door in matching London Cobble in grey for continuity.
As with most driveways, the issue of rainwater drainage has to be addressed and, in this instance, we fitted an aco drainage system that ran next to the front of the house to provide an outlet for surface water to run into.
Finally, the driveway was finished using a mid-sheen seal with anti-slip. You can see the stunning results from the photographs. The driveway provided a clean, tidy and practical area that perfectly complimented the front of the house. The problem of where to park their cars was resolved!
