Get Out in Your Garden More This Summer with a Pattern Imprinted Concrete Patio in Timperley

In preparation for the warmer weather and time spent outside, some of our recent clients decided to have a new pattern imprinted concrete patio in Timperley. For the patio, our clients chose Ashlar for the pattern, and it was coloured in Terracotta. You can see what this combination of colour and pattern looks like from the photographs included.

We laid the pattern imprinted concrete patio in Timperley across the back of the house, nicely leading out from the house through the doors and onto the patio linking the inside and outside living areas together.

At the same time as we were installing the patio, our clients also decided to have a new driveway in Timperley. In keeping with the patio at the back, they again opted to have pattern imprinted concrete and chose a similar pattern which was Royal Ashlar. This time they chose a completely different colour but just as attractive. You can see from the photographs that they decided to have slate grey.

We added an ACOS drain in order to make the new driveway in Timperley SUDS compliant. As the concrete is not porous, without a drain, water will settle on the surface, which can in turn cause problems with flooding etc. The drain provides somewhere for surface water to flow into. We also laid the concrete in the same colour and a pattern along the side of the house which made a lovely linkway between the front and back of the house.

Both the pattern imprinted concrete patio in Timperley and the new driveway were sealed in mid sheen acrylic with anti-skid. Not only does this stop the surface from becoming slippery but also gives a nice shine to the concrete which in turn sharpens the colour and defines the pattern.
