New driveway in Wythenshawe
Lasting Impressions was recently asked to install a new driveway in Wythenshawe.
Our customer was in the Baguley area of Wythenshawe and wanted a pattern imprinted concrete driveway and path leading to the front of the house. As well as edging the dividing fence the driveway and path trimmed the front lawn.
Our customer opted for London Cobble in classic grey. Think of a cobbled street and you often associate this with an elegant and sophisticated look. Picture an original cobbled stone street and you may think of something out of a Jane Austen novel! Fast forward a little over 200 years and pattern imprinted concrete has created this classic look. As you can see from the photographs, London Cobble has gently rounded corners and a domed surface, it’s a classic choice and will suit any style and age of house.
From a practical perspective, you will also see from the photographs that there was also aco drainage fitted from the corner of the house because of the split fall. This drain channel is lightweight and easy to install and has anti-shunt grating so you can’t trip over it and it stays firmly in place. It allows for surface water drainage rather than the water collecting in pockets on the driveway. The final results are a beautiful patterned driveway in a stunning colour which in this case perfectly complemented the white rendering on the outside of the house.
