New Concrete Driveway in Manchester
Pattern Imprinted Concrete – A Great Option for a Bespoke Driveway!
While you may not know what they are called, there’s no doubt you will have seen plenty of them! What are we talking about? The answer – pattern imprinted concrete driveways. In the last few years, they have become increasingly popular as a low maintenance, durable, oil and stain resistant option for a new driveway in Manchester.
So, what is pattern imprinted concrete? Simply put, it is an effective method of imprinting freshly poured concrete to create a stunning design for a new driveway in Manchester. It is also just as effective when used to produce a new patio or pathway.
With a range of patterns and colours to choose from you can opt for a combination that is bespoke to you. Not only will a pattern imprinted concrete driveway vastly improve the external appearance of your home but practically speaking, it can increase parking space which is much sought after if you live in the suburb of a city.
Lasting Impressions recently laid a new driveway in Manchester using pattern imprinted concrete. Our clients decided to have the whole of the front of the house across the front door, and garage door covered to maximise the parking space and create a cohesive, consistent look.
From the range of patterns available they opted for large London cobble, coloured in classic grey. To add definition, we tinted the edges. To ensure that the driveway was SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage System) compliant we installed an ACO drain to stop water collecting on the surface. This was along the front of the driveway. As part of the process, we also added an anti-slip sealant across the whole surface which gives the driveway a lovely, attractive sheen without making it slippery. You can see the beautiful results from the photographs included.
