New driveway Heald Green, Stockport
A Beautiful Driveway to Complement Your Home!
Another transformation was completed with the installation of a new driveway in Heald Green, Stockport. Our clients decided to utilise all of the space at the front of the house in order to increase the area for parking as well as complement the modern look of the front of the house with it’s new door, porch and window frames.
As you can see from the photographs our clients chose a pattern imprinted concrete new driveway in Heald Green, Stockport. They opted to have it printed in Ashlar cut stone pattern and coloured in Steadman with a mahogany release. Adding the release lifts the driveway from being a flat colour to one with more definition and texture. The colour and pattern worked beautifully with the colour of the brick as well as the colour of the window frames and door, bringing the whole scheme together.
For added interest and appeal, we included a decorative pin wheel and positioned it just in front of the door. This was a lovely feature to draw the eye and decorate the space. We also incorporated a nice step along the full length of the front door. In addition, all the borders were acid stained as well as parts of the pin wheel pattern. Again, this created definition.
To ensure that the driveway was also SUDS compliant we inserted an ACOS drain across the front of the house. This allows somewhere for surface water to flow away to. You can see the ACOS drain as well as what the driveway looked like in its entirety, from the photographs included.
To complete the new driveway in Heald Green, Stockport, it was sealed with an anti-slip sealant. This gave the driveway a lovely shine without making it slippery to walk or drive on.
