They wanted it to be laid across the front of the house, allowing for an existing grassed area at one side, and border with shrubs on the other. Pattern imprinted concrete can be laid in any shape, so we were able to lay the concrete along the curved edge of the grass and include a nice, curved shutter.

For this project our clients chose classic grey which tied in well with the black front door.

As part of the installation process, we added an ACOS drain along the front of the driveway. This is to ensure that the driveway is SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage System) Compliant. Because concrete is not permeable, the drain provides somewhere for rain water to flow into the ground.

The last part of the project involved sealing the driveway. This was done using a mid-sheen seal with anti-slip added to make it safe to walk and driveway on, or ride a bike.
